The Board



Chief S. O. Bolarinde, the Chairman Board of Directors, is a graduate of Industrial Chemistry from the John Delton College, Manchester, England.  He has M.Sc. Degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Surrey, England, and equally obtained a number of Certificates in management from the Lagos Business School and from Asbridge Management College, UK.  He rose through the ranks to become the Managing Director/CEO of Vitafoam in March 2002, and currently he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vitafoam Nigeria Plc, a wholly owned Nigerian Company quoted on The Nigerian Stock Exchange.  Chief S. O. Bolarinde also holds many other Board appointments, including Director in UAC Nigeria Plc, Consolidated Breweries Plc, and Toyota Nigeria Limited etc.

WALE ONIGBODE – Managing Director/CEO

Wale Onigbode is a Fellow of Chartered Stockbrokers. He is a 1993 Economics graduate of the Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye and also has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). He joined Calyx Securities Limited in 1995 and has since been actively involved in securities analysis and trading, marketing of primary issues, advising investors and managing clients’ portfolio.

He is currently the Managing Director/CEO of Calyx Securities Limited.  His experience in the capital market spans a period of eighteen years. He has participated in various courses, seminars and workshops both locally and abroad. He has also contributed immensely to the development of the Nigerian capital market in various capacities.




Air Vice Marshal Joe Ehigie retired from the Nigerian Air Force after 30 years of meritorious service.  While in service, he held various key military positions such as, ADC to the Military Governor of the former Mid-Western State, Director of Planning, Nigeria Air Force, and Chief of Communications, Defence Headquarters.  He was also the Director of Commercial Law, Federal Ministry of Trade (1985 to 1986), Managing Director, Nigerian Airports Authority (1989 to 1990) and Principal General Staff Officer, Office of the Chief of General Staff, The Presidency (1993 to1994).

A trained pilot, he holds a Masters of Science Degree in Defence Studies from the University of Madras, India.  He retired from the military in 1994, and has since been engaged in private business, with interest spanning shipping, contracting, trade finance and stockbroking,  many successful Private and Public Issues, the most recent being that of Tripple Gee and Company Plc.


Mr. Femi Banwo is a law graduate of University of Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1982 and has been practicing law ever since.

He is a founding partner in the Lagos Law Firm of Banwo & Ighodalo, Company and Commercial Law Practitioners with substantial experience in Nigerian Capital Market transactions.  He is also a director of several other companies operating in different sectors of the Nigerian economy.


Mr. Nwazota is a businessman based in the United States of America.  He has investments in banking, mining and tourism.

GLORIA ATTAH –   Director

Mrs. Gloria Atta is a graduate of King’s School, Cambridge, U.K. King’s School Ely, UK, Brillanfmont Ecole International Lausanne, Switzerland, Belmont Abbey

College Belmont, NC, USA, and Lagos Business School, Lagos.  She has a wide range of management experience having served as a Manager in T. Y. Holding Limited., the Managing Director of Bellamina Nigeria Limited, and an Executive Directors of NAL COMET Shipping Agencies Limited, a position she still holds to-date.


KOYE IDOWU – Director

Mr. Emmanuel Adekoyejo Idowu obtained is first degree in Social Science faculty of Middlessex University, England in 1982 with special emphasis on Economics.  His graduate school was at The University of Missouri St. Loius, USA between 1982-1983 and was awarded an M.Sc Economics Degree.

Mr. Koye Idowu is a seasoned Banker and Administrator being a foundation staff of Nigeria International Bank-Citibank.  NA and current Chairman, Chief Executive of KDS Woods Limited, an indigenous wood processing organization involved in the process for export of Wooden, Flooring Tiles and Plywood Milling for local construction Companies.

Mr. Koye Idowu  has worked with Mobil Oil Nigeria Limited, Nigeria International Bank Limited. He has acquired a wide experience in Banking sectors and Oil Industries in Nigeria to set up an export oriented manufacturing company which he still manages to date.

They are all successful businessmen and professionals in their chosen field.
